This beautiful necklace is a special offering to honor Ellen Tash Matrangos, an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher and friend to so many. 100% of profits from the sale of every Planted necklace ($20) will be donated to Must Ministries.
Ellen was a retired Elementary School Teacher and loved kids. Ellen was the epitome of selfless service! She lovingly served her family and devout husband of 41 years, her beautiful daughters and grandchildren, her community and church, and anyone she saw in need. Ellen also served as a Patient Care Advocate at Emory and was the chairperson for Relay for Life at Cobb County School District at her local school.
Ellen volunteered weekly for Must Ministries at the Elizabeth Inn Homeless Shelter. The Elizabeth Inn Shelter provides a safe sanctuary of rest for those who find themselves in distress. Open to men, women, and children, the 72-bed Elizabeth Inn provides three meals a day and extensive support services including case management, workforce development, computer lab, recovery meeting, referrals, and assessments. Ellen’s heart was filled with love and kindness for anyone she met and we cannot think of a better way to honor her than to give back on her behalf.
